Initial Meeting: Dr. William (Bill) Hildebolt and his wife greeted me warmly as we discussed his vision of the book and the impetus to write it. As Bill told it, when he had heard that someone else had been given credit (by Malcolm Gladwell on his TED Talk) for creating that $30 Billion product, he almost fell out of his chair. Bill knew he had to right that wrong by telling the true story of Prego Spaghetti Sauce and the people involved.
